FIGHTING FOR THE BASIC ABC's AND BETTER TEST SCORES :
I  will be a champion for students and parents by focusing on the basics. ( test scores, literacy and parental rights.  The district is leaving the basics behind in  literacy and test scores while engaging in glitzy projects that the board tries to sell.

BEING AN ACTIVE  VOICE FOR COMMUNITY INPUT :
As a lifelong resident of Oshkosh and a Merrill Alumni,  I am  committed to fighting for greater transparency & community input. Community input can increase access to learning opportunities, boost student retention and promote optimism among staff. It is essential to create an environment where community members feel welcomed, respected , trusted, needed and most importantly, heard. It is important to me to have a board that listens to the people of its community, rather than people listening to the board.

KEEPING THE DISTRICT AFFORDABLE:
As a tax payers and a mother,  I believe that it is important to keep our district affordable. The levy keeps going up and the replacement options are not popular. Not only are we getting rid of Merrill School, but we are footing the bill to do so. We need a school board who can and will keep the fiscal house in order.
